SCHS “Farm to Table Garden” Project!
Hello! My name is Ms. Elizabeth Tocco.
I am the Information Literacy Specialist at Stoney Creek High School. I am seeking your help to raise enough funds to build a school garden with the intent of various cross curricular experiences.
This is my proposal’s compelling why…
This is the first time a school garden with the intent of various cross curricular experiences and multiple groups of stakeholders will be implemented at SCHS. The Farm to Table Garden is intended to teach students the value of their food and have as many students possible involved throughout all the stages of farming!
It is our desire at Stoney Creek High School (AHS) to pilot a student community garden that will allow a variety of classes to plant, maintain, and harvest with the goal of creating a’ farm to table’ experience.
With the help of our SCHS Health, Foods and Nutrition, and Cuisines of the World team members will build and maintain the garden outside the classroom (blueprint above).
♥ This is where you can help! ♥

Currently, I am waiting on response from the WHOLE kids garden grant to assist with funding.
