Would like to see the plan to execute this program. How does one get a copy? How is success defined?

Hello! I’m Colleen Mestdagh, Information Literacy Specialist and I’m Lisa Rabaut, Reading Recovery Specialist!

Together we are seeking your help to raise enough funds to enhance literacy and implement the “Bus Book Baskets” program at Brooklands! Your support will also provide our classrooms and library with March Book Madness books to carry out the #classroombookaday challenge!!

This is our proposal’s compelling why…

We believe literacy is a moral imperative for all! Our school community goals focus not only on high achievements and continuous improvement but also in building a joyful reading culture.

Supplementing books in all areas of a student’s day sets reading as a priority. Furthermore, books which are “mirror and windows” to children of diverse population will solidify the importance of how a literate life connects us to all humankind!

♥ This is where you can help! ♥

Help us reach our goal!

With your support, the cost of the materials below to begin the “Bus Book Baskets”, literacy at home and March Book Madness will be covered and most importantly increase literacy initiatives at Brooklands Elementary.

Thank you for your consideration!

Any donation is appreciated!
