FULLY FUNDED! Brainpop! Visually Excelling!
♥ DONORS WALL OF SUPPORT ♥
Hello RCS Community,
My name is Ms. Jenny Wordell.
I am a Special Ed, ASD Teacher Consultant and I am seeking your help to raise enough funds to purchase the BrainPOP and BrainPOP Jr. subscriptions for our teachers to utilize this tool and enhance reading, math, daily living, science, and social studies lessons for our students with Autism!
BrainPOP and BrainPOP Jr. provide an online library of short, easy to digest videos on a variety of topics that are very student friendly!
This is my proposal’s compelling why… ♥
Students with Autism are typically visual learners!
Having access to BrainPOP and BrainPOP Jr. will impact over 40 students in our Autism programs. The program will enhance and support the curriculum concepts with visual support on a daily basis.
♥ This is where you can help! ♥
Please join us in our efforts to help our students with Autism excel visually with BrainPOP!

I believe in helping the development of our communities especially those individuals who may need some extra help to reach their full potential. I recognize software tools such as BrainPOP may provide opportunities during these challenging times with the COVID distancing and virtual learning requirements. HOWEVER, I would like to share my opinion that I believe individuals with autism are best developed through programs with outdoor activities, focusing on nature and a very high level of interpersonal skill development. When circumstances permit, I encourage you and others doing this work to move away from digital media and move towards live programs and tangible media. Keep up your good intentions!
